 I’m so grateful that BCDI has an active presence in our community. Their quality programs not only ensure the success of Black children but for all children. Their work with families, children and other partners makes our society a better place to live with a brighter future.  When an organization helps to make a child’s life/education better, it is remarkable! BCDI does that so very well. As a supporter of BCDI, I’ve seen a myriad of activities and workshops provided for the parents. They are meaningful, and the parents always seem fully engaged in the topics presented. I’ve often heard the parents mention how thankful they are for the activities and literature that BCDI provides. What is most heart warming is seeing the glee in children’s eyes when BCDI gives them new books to read and keep forever. May the great works of BCDI continue to flourish and make a positive impact on children’s lives and education. 
